VOICETHREAD:
Voicethread is a common multimedia slide show that allows students to comment on text, video, and audio files related to images, documents and videos. It is a Web 2.0 tool. In VoiceThread, teachers can make moderate comments, set up groups and classes, embed them in blogs, and export them to audio files. It makes learning engaging with the options it offers such as participating in the conversation, thinking clearly and critically and showing.
ADVANTAGES OF VOICETHREAD:
-It can be used for different ages.
-Reacords video comments (audio,video) without additional software.
-Sharing can be personal or group and can be embedded into other links.
-Can be used to upload different types of files. (documents, images, videos)
-Data can be uploaded from different sources. (PC, URL or Link)
LIMITATIONS:
-Need account for viewing and commenting.
-The quality of function is not uniform for all web browsers.
-Simultaneous access is not possible for multiple users on one account.

Finally, voicethread is a Web 2.0 instructional technology tool which is suitable for the digital age of the 21st century that improves foreign language teaching.
